Attention all Muaythai Ontario Kru Yais, Krus, and PC Krus,

We are one week away from this special 3-day seminar featuring Ajahn Chalee, Ajahn Samart, Kru Somrak Kamsing, Ajahn Suchart, Kru Yai Alin Halmagean, and Kru Yai Clifton Brown. This seminar will offer unique knowledge from international leaders in Muay Thai, bringing us expertise from the Sport Authority of Thailand and Canada’s leading coaches.

Individuals who complete the full seminar will receive their appropriate instruction license: Level C for Poo Choi Krus and Level B for Krus. Note: this is not an MTO Coaching Course or Officials Course, this is a special seminar licensing MTO-Recognized Muay Thai Instructors.

Please note that this seminar is for instructor licensees only, and is not open generally to MTO athletes or community members. Anyone not already certified as a PC Kru will have to seek permission from their Kru or Kru Yai to participate.

At this time, this course is not a requirement to teach or coach Muay Thai in Ontario; however, Muaythai Ontario is continuously developing the sport of Muay Thai in accordance with the laws and regulations of both the International Federation of Muay Thai Associations (IFMA) and Ontario’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport (MTCS). Looking toward the future, Muaythai Ontario may be required to standardize minimum instructional competencies and qualifications across all Ontario member clubs, and therefore this course may become required in the future. We hope to offer this or a similar course at least once per year.

Nevertheless, we hope to see you at the seminar next week!
