An Athlete Upgrade Application allows athletes to compete at greater competitive levels than their natural age or experience would allow. An upgrade should only be considered by athletes who exhibit exceptional ability within their division, and not for athletes only wishing to upgrade for one contest.
Upgrades to an athlete's experience class are permanent, where as upgrades to an athlete's age do not prevent competition at their natural age category.
Athletes from Clubs outside Ontario must complete their division upgrades using the Muaythai Canada Upgrade Form.

Provide a description of why the member in question should be considered for an upgrade. Consider competitive experience, past performance, etc. Please remember an upgrade will only be considered by athletes who exhibit exceptional ability within their division, and not for athletes only wishing to upgrade for one contest.
Reasons such as "I was asked to" or similar will be declined.
I understand that the Age Category Upgrade allows an athlete to compete at an older age category, but does not prevent the athlete from competing at their natural age.
I understand that the Experience Class Upgrade is a permanent decision that may not be reversed, even should that athlete find themselves over matched in their new division.
