A Recreational Membership with Muaythai Ontario is a community-focused membership gives you first access to various opportunities for continued growth in Muaythai. Whether you decide to compete or not, there are other paths available to you in the world of Muaythai!
Volunteer with the organization and contribute to the growth and development of athletes and coaches. Keep your skills sharp and continue learning outside of the ring at wellness or technique seminars. Or maybe you'll become an event host yourself - the possibilities are endless! We hope you will continue your Muaythai journey for a long time to come.
A Recreational Membership connects you with all things Muaythai:
MTO Recreational memberships are not meant for competitive purposes. If you wish to compete in Muaythai, talk to your coach and then sign-up with Muaythai Ontario as a competitive member.
Annual Muaythai Ontario Memberships are based on the calendar year and, end December 31st of the year of registration. This is true no matter when a member has registered
Example 1: An athlete registers with Muaythai Ontario on September 1st, 2020. Their membership expires on December 31st, 2020.
Example 2: An athlete registers with Muaythai Ontario on February 1st, 2020. Their membership expires on December 31st, 2020.
Members can then renew their membership after January 1st of the following year.
The Recreational Membership will be $0.00 in 2020 during Ontario's emergency orders. A fee for Recreational Memberships will be implemented after emergency orders are over, or in the next calendar year.

Participation in any sport or physical activity carries with it the risk of injury. Concussions are an injury specific to the brain, and Ontario's Rowan's Law bring awareness to concussions and concussion safety. New regulation and legislation in Ontario requires that:
Muaythai Ontario takes concussion safety seriously, and requires that all members read through the concussion awareness resources and Concussion Code of Conduct as it applies to your age and role within the sport.

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that my membership requires that I understand and adhere to the rules and policies of Muaythai Ontario (MTO). Failure to do so at all times will result in my suspension from events and/or the suspension or the cancellation of my membership.
